Useful Information

Important Information Before You Borrow

Short-term loans can solve an urgent problem, but they come with responsibilities. Here is what you should know about how we evaluate, lend and collect.

The principle of responsible lending

How our brokers assess your capacity to repay

Once these criteria are validated, we issue a loan agreement.

1. Your pay

The amount and stability of your income.

2. Unpaid items

Whether your bank account shows many unpaid or returned payments.

3. A coherent amount

The amount requested must match your repayment capacity.

Your commitment

The borrower agrees to repay the loan

Our collection practices comply with Canadian laws and regulations.

If you cannot repay, we will work with you on a new schedule that reflects your repayment ability. Keep in mind that late repayments generate interest that increases your balance, and that any legal fees resulting from collection are the borrower’s responsibility.

Important clarification

A temporary solution, not a habit

Short-term loans are meant for temporary financial difficulties, when no other financing option is available.

They can ease a tense situation, but they remain temporary. Avoid stacking several short-term loans, which can lead to over-indebtedness.

Need help with several debts? Look at debt consolidation to bring them together into one payment.
